A&W Canada: Cruisin' for a Cause in Support of MS is TODAY !!

Just a reminder that TODAY is Cruisin' for a Cause day at A&W.

Multiple Sclerosis is very close to my heart. Supporting A&W in raising money for MS is a great way to have a delicious hamburger and help out individuals in your community that are suffering from the unpredictable disease.


On Thursday, August 25th, 2011, all A&W restaurants across Canada will be celebrating Cruisin’ for a Cause Day! A&W restaurant owners have committed to donate $1 from every Teen Burger sold within this 24 hour period to help MS Society of Canada to end MS.

With over 700 locations across Canada, it will be easy to do your part to help end MS. It’s never been tastier to support a great cause :)

Tim Hortons: Camp Day June 1st, 2011

June 1st, is Camp Day at Tim Hortons. Camp Day is a charitable program that Tim Horton's introduce some time ago. On this day the proceeds from the coffees we purchase at Tim Hortons go to charity to help send kids to camp who otherwise could not afford to go.

Last year, Camp Day raised more than $9.7 million CDN ($9.3 million U.S.).

While it is important for all of us to save money (hence this blog), helping others that are in need, especially children is something that everyone that can help should do. Buying one cup of coffee. won't break the bank for most, but will put a huge smile on a child that can attend camp because of that coffee.
