I don't know about you, but I just love Hummus. One of my favorite dinners is Hummus, grilled chicken, Pitas and Tomato, Cucumber and onion salad. Really easy to make and just delicious.
So here is my low fat Hummus Recipe.
1 Can chickpeas drained and rinsed
1 cup fat free or low fat yogurt (whatever you have at home, you can even substitute low fat sour cream)
1 or 2 garlic cloves minced, depending on how much garlic you like
1 to 2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp cumin (optional)
Add everything into a food processor and blend until smooth. Chill for 2 hours or overnight.
Serve with Pita
